Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Advisor Video Studio (“the Service”), provided by Social Advisors. By creating an account or subscribing you agree to them on behalf of your firm.

What the Service is

The Service produces short-form video scripts in your voice from an onboarding questionnaire, runs an automated compliance check on each script, and provides human editing of videos you record and upload. Script drafts are generated by an AI model and reviewed by our team.

Compliance is your responsibility

Our compliance check is a first pass designed around the SEC Marketing Rule and the guardrails you give us. It is not legal advice and does not replace review by your firm’s chief compliance officer or counsel. You are responsible for what you publish, including required disclosures and recordkeeping under the rules that apply to your firm.

Your content

You own your recordings, the edited clips we deliver, and the scripts generated for you. You grant us the rights needed to store, process, edit, and deliver them. You confirm you have the right to use any material you upload.

Subscriptions and payment

• Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Monthly plans have a three-month minimum term.
• Changing your weekly cadence changes your plan price on a prorated basis from that day.
• Pausing your plan pauses script deliveries. It does not pause billing; contact your account manager for billing changes or cancellation.
• Failed payments pause new deliveries until the payment method is updated. Your existing library stays available.
• Pilots and onboarding fees are one-time charges and are not refundable once work has started.

Editing and turnaround

Edited clips are delivered within the turnaround shown in your portal, measured in business days from upload. Each clip includes the revision rounds stated in your plan; further revisions may be charged as add-ons.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to produce content that is misleading, that violates securities marketing rules, or that infringes others’ rights, and you may not share your sign-in links or give access to people outside your firm.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending the agreement

Either party may end the agreement at the end of the current term by written notice. We may suspend access for non-payment or misuse. On termination you can download your delivered clips for 30 days.
