Privacy Policy

Advisor Video Studio (“the Service”) is operated by Social Advisors (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit avs.social-advisors.com, join the waitlist, or use the Service as a client, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

• Waitlist and account details: your name, work email, firm name, role, and anything you write in the waitlist form or your account settings.
• Onboarding answers: the questionnaire you complete about your ideal client, topics, voice, and compliance requirements, and the profile, voice guide, and scripts generated from them.
• Video files: raw recordings you upload and the edited clips we deliver, stored privately and served only through expiring links.
• Billing details: handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers; we keep your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and subscription status.
• Usage data: standard server logs and, on the public landing page only, Google Analytics with IP anonymisation. We do not run analytics on signed-in pages, invite links, or sign-in links.

How we use it

• To generate your ideal-client profile, voice guide, and weekly scripts. Script drafts are produced by an AI model from your answers and reviewed before delivery; your answers and scripts are used only for your firm and are not used to train AI models.
• To edit and deliver your videos, notify you by email when scripts or clips are ready, and run the Service.
• To contact waitlist members when a spot opens, and to respond to your questions.
• To bill you for subscriptions you choose.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the Service, each only for the purpose described:

• Supabase (database, authentication, and private file storage) and Vercel (hosting).
• Anthropic (AI model that drafts profiles and scripts from your onboarding answers).
• Resend (transactional email), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (landing-page traffic only), and n8n (scheduling and notifications).
• Our video editors, who access only the recordings you upload for editing.

We do not sell your information and do not share it with advertisers.

Retention

Raw video uploads are deleted 30 days after the edited clip is delivered. Edited clips, scripts, and your profile remain available for as long as your account is active. Waitlist entries are kept until you are onboarded or ask to be removed. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each firm’s data is isolated by database access rules so that advisors can only ever see their own firm. Sign-in uses one-time email links; we never store passwords.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your account details in Settings, ask to leave the waitlist, or request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing hello@social-advisors.com. Residents of states with privacy laws (for example California) may exercise the rights those laws provide by contacting us the same way.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and, for clients, notify you by email.
